PBBM ruled out the rumors of a “loyalty check” for Military and Police
President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Monday, December 17, 2024, ruled out the speculations about the loyalty check among officials of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) and the Philippine National Police (PNP) amid the recent political developments.

The president gave the remarks that he didn’t understand the terminology of a loyalty check. He also said that there is no such term, and he heard this in the media only.
In the last week, the president attended the National Peace and Order Council with higher officials of Philippine security at PNP headquarters in Camp Crame. At the council, matters discussed were the law and order situation, general peace, the elections of 2025, and the ban on offshore gaming operators (POGO).
Earlier, PBBM was the guest of honor for the Major Services Officer and Candidate Course Joint Graduation Ceremony of the AFP. These consecutive security officials’ events attended by the president were the cause of the rumors in the media that the president is conducting a loyalty check for his policies among the armed forces and the PNP officials.
President Macros not only ruled out the speculations about the loyalty check, but he also mentioned his high gratitude for the Armed Forces and the PNP professionals.
