PNP Security Check points in Davao City
Several check points are conducted by the police at the entry points and other areas of Davao City to check the credentials of the bikes, vehicles, and their drivers.
Police officials conducted several checkposts in the City of Davao on Monday, December 16, 2024. These checkpoints were conducted at multiple main points of the city where the traffic moves. Several motorcycles and other vehicles were stopped at these checkposts for inspection before allowing entry into the downtown.
During the vehicles’ inspection, the documents and other particulars of the vehicles as well as the drivers were checked by the police officers on duty at the check posts. The drivers lacking the official registration documents were spotted, and the police officials issued fine tickets to such drivers.
These security check posts could cause traffic flow issues in heavy traffic areas. On the other hand, these are helpful to ensure that the traffic rules and the legal registrations are being followed by the vehicles’ owners.
