President Marcos inaugurates a New One-Stop OFW AKSYON Center
On 17th December, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. inaugurated the new One-Stop Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW) AKSYON Center at the DMW Makati Building in Makati City. On this occasion, First Lady Liza Marcos and Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) Secretary Hans Leo Cacdac were also present on the site. The aim of this service is to facilitate overseas Filipino workers and their families in the smooth delivery of required support and services centralized under one roof.

This facility is located at the DMW Makati Building along Malugay Street in Barangay Bel-Air, Makati City. This facility will provide centralized full-cycle support for OFWs and their families at a single point, removing the complex bureaucratic procedures.
A café’ is also developed within the center, where free coffee and snacks are served to the OFWs and their families, who come to visit the center for the required services.
All the required services are provided at this facility, including departure to overseas employment, police clearances, and return to their homeland. Main services include Balik-Manggagawa processing, reintegration support, legal assistance, and financial aid through the DMW AKSYON Fund.
Another salient feature of this facility is that the services required by OFWs from many other government departments are also provided at the same center. These other departments include the Social Security System (SSS), the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), the Police (PNP), the Agriculture Department, Health, Labor, Trade, Tourism, Science and Technology, Social Welfare, and other government departments.
The government aims to extend this service to other cities in the future to facilitate the OFWs in getting all the services hassle-free at a single point, which will help more overseas workers and their families to get facilitated.
